Position Description

The SPEC Administrative Assistant/Receptionist Position is responsible for providing general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. 

 


Position Responsibilities

  • Answering phone and directing calls to appropriate associates
  • Greet and direct visitors of the corporate office
  • Maintain current filing system
  • Order office supplies for corporate office
  • Entering IFTA mileage and fuel
  • Entering weekly Safety Meetings for each branch
  • Updating equipment repair expenses
  • Creating title and registration applications for trucks
  • Sending out UPS packages for corporate office
  • Additional tasks as needed

Position Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
  • Working knowledge of office equipment (fax machines, copiers…)
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
